HO CHI MINH CITY – MY THO – BEN TRE – HO CHI MINH CITY After breakfast at hotel, transfer to My Tho (1.5-hour drive). On arrival, take a boat cruise along one of the nine main tributaries of the Mekong River before arriving at Ben Tre where you will visit a handicraft workshop creating products made from coconut trees. From here switch to horse cart to visit a local house where you can enjoy honey tea, folk music and a variety of tropical fruits grown in their garden before floating on a sampan (typical delta boat) through the narrow, tree-lined canals of the Mekong Delta. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon. En route, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. Dinner & overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI – MUI NE BEACH After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing a web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Return to Ho Chi Minh after lunch. Then depart for Mui Ne (3.5 hour drive) Dinner & overnight in Mui Ne.
MUI NE BEACH – HO CHI MINH CITY Morning spend some free for swimming & shopping. Visit Red Sand Dunes (sand sliding included) before lunch. After lunch, transfer to visit White Sand Dunes (Jeep ride included). Then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner & overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
